The following are a collection of pictures that bring back great memories from when I was in Santiago, Chile and also in Temuco, Chile. The first picture is of the live volcano in Pucon, called Vilarica just south of Temuco. One of the most beautiful towns lies at the base of the volcano with a gorgeous lake.
I have great memories of the friends I made while in Chile. Pictured here on my right is Roberto Canete, who is now General Manager for CTR. The group in Temuco had a wonderful party for me when I left Chile, complete with a banquet and traditional dancing from the Easter Islands.
I have included pictures of some of the people that I worked with while in Chile as General Manager of CTR.

Robinson Sanza was the Sales and Marketing Manager while I was in Chile. His picture is on the left. Another closeup of Roberto Canete on the right.

Ken was our CFO for a time in Temuco. This was a picture of Ken Gutierrez with some of his going away presents that the team gave him before he left.
Pictured below are myself, Roberto, Diane Bertrand and Robinson. Diane replaced Ken as our CFO and stayed in Chile for almost 2 years. Loves to travel and work in foreign countries.

Juan Pablo Marre (on the left) or Machine Gun as we called him sometimes for his rapid speech. Juan Pablo was our corporate lawyer. Patricio was our IT manager. Patricio left CTR to start up his own consulting business.

Of course pictures would not be complete with out a picture of one of our payphones in a small village near Temuco. Many of our transmission towers were located on some of the mountains in Chile making them difficult to get to during the winter as the picture on the left shows.
